Prenuptial agreements should not be signed too close to the wedding date. Signing shortly before the marriage can increase the risk of the agreement being challenged later. According to MSH Associate Brittany Gregorchik, prenups should ideally be signed at least two months before the wedding to help avoid claims of duress in the event of a divorce.
