Not true. Financial institutions must disclose their Privacy Policy when you enter an ongoing customer relationship, and after any material changes. 

According to MSH Associate Theo Kelly, if you want to limit the sharing of your personal information, review the section titled “To limit our sharing.” You can’t stop all sharing, but you can often restrict sharing related to your creditworthiness and certain marketing information.
